The Healing Prayer Team will be offering prayers for persons
in need of healing every other month on the 4th Sunday immediately following worship. This will begin on August 22nd. A time of healing prayer is offered every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. All are welcome. Whatever your needs are - physical, social, emotional or relational, the team desires to pray with you and for you. If you would like to join the Healing Prayer Team, please call Pastor Brad at 231.937.4310. We are looking for 3 new persons to join.

The Healing Prayer Team will not meet on Thursday, August 5th.

Family Camping will take place beginning on Friday, August 6th through Sunday, August 8th. If you have signed up to go and have not paid, please pay Michelle Hall. Pastor Brad will be doing a short worship at camp on Sunday and will be present at the church for the 10:30 am service.

Nominations Committee will begin meeting on Wednesday, August 4th at 6:30 pm to plan for the Leadership of the church for the 2011 year. Is God calling you to serve in a given area? If you have a desire to volunteer in any area, please let Pastor Brad or Carol know.

Worship Out doors here at the church will take place on Sunday, August 15th. This will be followed by a picnic and games for the children. You are asked to bring yard chairs, a dish to pass, your own table service (cups, eating utensils, plates and napkins). Beverages will be served. Join us for worship and a fun filled event.

Newsletter Deadline is Monday, August 16th. If you have an article regarding something that has occurred or something that will be occurring during the months of September and October, please get it to Jody Hay as soon as possible. You can place it in Jody’s mailbox here at church or email her at

The next Blood Drive is Sunday, August 22nd. If you have not already signed up to donate, please do so on the signup sheet on the table in the narthex.
